Accessibility
Last updated: August 3, 2026
Our aim: everyone should be able to find a deal here, whatever they browse with. We target WCAG 2.1 Level AA. This page says honestly where we meet it and where we do not.
Standard
We work to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. This is a self-assessment, not a certified audit.
What We Have Built In
Keyboard: every control, including the category tabs, search, deal links, coupon copy buttons and the signup form, is reachable and operable by keyboard, with a visible focus ring on each. A "skip to deals" link is the first thing you reach.
Screen readers: the page uses landmark regions and a single heading outline, tabs carry proper roles and selected state, every image has alt text describing the product, icon-only buttons carry labels, and search results and toasts announce through live regions.
Contrast: body text on the page background measures 16.6:1, secondary text 5.6:1, and the orange call-to-action buttons use near-black text at 6.3:1. All exceed the 4.5:1 Level AA threshold for normal text.
Motion: if your system is set to reduce motion, animations and scroll effects are disabled and content appears immediately.
Zoom and touch: the layout reflows to 400% zoom without horizontal scrolling, form fields use a 16px minimum so phones do not zoom on focus, and touch targets meet the 44px minimum.
Known Limitations
We would rather tell you than let you find out:
Deal content requires JavaScript. Deals are loaded and rendered in the browser, so with JavaScript disabled you will see the page but no deals. We are working on serving deals in the initial page.
Product images come from retailers. Their alt text is generated from the product title, which is descriptive but not hand-written, and image quality varies with what the retailer supplies.
Third-party pages are outside our control. Once you follow a deal link you are on the retailer's site, and its accessibility is theirs, not ours.
No formal audit yet. Everything above is our own testing. We have not commissioned an independent WCAG audit or assistive-technology user testing.
Tell Us When We Get It Wrong
If any part of this Site is hard to use, email [email protected] with the page and what went wrong. We aim to reply within five business days, and accessibility bugs go to the front of the queue.
If you need a deal's details in another format, ask and we will send them.
